1101812203_0d64faf935If you haven’t read my previous post you might be wondering what TMIS is. So here it is…Too Many Ideas Syndrome. The symptoms are as follows: You have too many ideas rolling around in your head and you don’t know which ones to pursue; you pursue many ideas at once until you are overloaded and can’t continue; you have a lot of projects started but not completed; you feel like a circus clown trying to keep several plates spinning on sticks all at once; you just feel like you are in. a. circus…period.

Complications are: Confusion, frustration, brain fog, insomnia, etc.

Yeah, some of us have that “illness”. If you suffer from this syndrome I now have the remedy. Here are five tips to help you deal with this nagging problem.

1) Find a friend to share a project idea with. You’ll be able to move ahead with your idea and use only half the time needed.

2) Write down ideas as they come to you and categorize them, saving them for the future. You now have a pool of ideas to draw from.

3) Become a resource, an expert, sharing your ideas with others.

4) Prioritize your ideas and pursue the one that means the most to you or that you enjoy the most. Save the rest for a time later in your life.

5)  Try merging two ideas into one project. ie Share something you enjoy in two ways. For example, I love antiquing and writing. So now I buy and sell antiques while blogging about  this interest.

If, on the other hand, you don’t have ENOUGH ideas in which to pursue in your life, well, we have some help for that also! Just keep following  this blog by subscribing on the right sidebar. We have plenty of ideas to share! And you would be helping us with remedy #3.
