THE WISEST MIND HAS SOMETHING YET TO LEARN.  George Santayana

There are times in our lives when our minds seem so full  it feels like we just can’t cram anything more in there. I know I have felt at times that my brain is telling me, ” your inbox is full”. I don’t even TRY to remember new things. I just write everything down. Especially when you get to be MY age. You figure LEARNING  has to be over, right?  But guess what?  It’s not over til  it’s over!  Learning should never stop!

That is ONE of the reasons that Sherrie and I started this blog. We’re trying to encourage others ( and each other ) to continue living life to THE FULL! To continue BLOOMING  even after becoming BOOMERS!  To keep growing and stretching and learning!

Have you ever been laid up for a few days and when you FINALLY get out of bed to try and get back to your normal lifestyle, your legs are stiff, sore, and achey? Maybe you even ache ALL OVER! The reason is that when you don’t use your leg muscles they begin to get stiff and tighten up from lack of use and THAT causes pain! Like it or not, in a similar way, there are consequences to our lack of use of the mind as well. Yup! You gotta keep using the old noggin! Just like our bodies, our MINDS need exercise!

A lot of what we’ll be talking about in the upcoming weeks is THE MIND….how you can be transformed by it, what you should be putting in it, how to use it, and MORE!  I think you’ll find it fascinating! WE DO! And we want to share some exciting and interesting information with you that has helped US in OUR  journey.

So continue to meet with us Monday, Wednesday, and Friday ( our posting days ) and give us your feedback! … AND get ready to keep LEARNING! Oh! And don’t worry about the “inbox” of your mind getting full with all this new learning. We’re going to show you how to deal with THAT problem too!  : )  Sandy

  1. It is unfortunate that most stop learning when day get out of their academe. As long as we live we should never cease to learn the lessons that life brings. After all, only the intangible are preserve long after the body is gone. The more we learn, the more we tap into the higher understanding. 🙂
