Felt with the Heart

Filed under: Uncategorized — bloomingboomers @ 9:29 pm

It was a wonderful Valentine’s weekend, sharing dinner out with my husband and special friends. I also talked to my grown children, siblings, and Mom as I expressed thanks to God for those in my life that I love. I am truly blessed.

It reminded me of a favorite saying from Helen Keller: “The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart.” My heart is full.

Today I happen to be sipping on coffee from a mug with that quote on it. The mug was a gift from one of my sons. I decided to take a picture of it, along with one of the dozen roses which were a gift from my husband.

What are you feeling in your heart? Is it joy and contentment, or does your heart tell you it’s time to make some positive changes? Sandy and I encourage you to follow this blog regularly and sign up for the 12 sessions we will be offering to be more intentional and joyful in your life. There will be exercises (no, not the jumping jack kind —  the thinking and writing kind!) for you to complete at your own pace to bring clarity back to your life and goals. It’s FREE, and just something we want to share with you. Just email Sandy at lesacookman@charter.net if you are interested. It starts next week!
