DSC01024Hi!

I’m Sandy, the other Blooming Boomer. Sherrie and I are both excited to share what we are learning through life’s journey and hope you’ll share YOUR journey with US through comments. So let’s get going as time is fleeting…..

I’m going to jump right in and challenge us this Fall. Since Thanksgiving is right around the corner, Sherrie and I would like you to join us in a Twenty-Eight Day Gratitude Challenge beginning October 30th through Thanksgiving.  We encourage you to begin intentionally  cultivating the attitude of gratitude because gratitude creates joy in our lives. We will be posting daily through Thanksgiving ( a challenge for US ) and asking you to read daily for encouragement ( maybe a challenge for YOU ).

To begin this challenge you’ll need a notebook in which to write. You can use a simple spiral bound notebook or find a colorful, inspirational journal, whatever will inspire you to write it down. In the next few days leading up to Oct. 30th we will give you more direction so keep checking the blog posts.

I’ve added some Fall colors here for Thanksgiving inspiration and a quote…..

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion to clarity….Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.  -Melody Beattie
